The neo® Penta activates with a press-and-hold of the activation button. A start delay allows the indicator to be attached to the product and placed within the monitored environment before logging begins preventing false readings caused by handling temperature during packing.
Once active, the green power LED flashes every 8 seconds to confirm that monitoring is in progress.
